Lake lovers and those who enjoy the lazy, hot days of summertime are finding the summer of 2010 to be a good one.  The activity on the lake has been nice and quiet during the week and somewhat busy on the weekends.   Our family continues to enjoy the benefits of living at Lake Martin!  There is nothing better than an afternoon of swimming, tubing, riding and enjoying being with family and friends.  We recently tried a new  ice cream recipe – chocolate – that is easy and yummy.  Mix 1/2 gallon of choc milk, small container of cool whip and a can of sweetened condensed milk together in the ice cream mixer container.  Then follow the directions for plugging it in, adding the ice and rock salt.  Before long your ice cream mixer will stop and behold some AWESOME chocolate ice cream!  I would post a picture but that would mean leaving the ice cream with the family while I go get the camera.  More than likely the ice cream would be gone when I returned….
