Lake Martin shoreline stretches to cover the counties of Elmore, Coosa and Tallapoosa. The majority of Lake Martin’s 750 miles of shoreline fall within Tallapoosa County – it starts near Martin Dam and goes around to Pitchford Hollow near Willow Point and also includes the land between Coosa and Elmore County called the “Land between the Lakes” owned by Russell Lands. Cities include Dadeville, Jacksons Gap and Alexander City. Russell Crossroads, which currently includes Catherine’s Market, the Discovery Center and Springhouse restaurant, are located in Tallapoosa County.
