Memorial Day on Lake Martin seems to be the official start of summertime for many folks! Kids are out of school, the weather is warm and the lake is full. If you are heading to the lake this weekend and wondering what is going on — here are a few things to consider enjoying while visiting Lake Martin.

Art on the Lake will be at Children’s Harbor Saturday and Sunday. More than 50 artist from across the Southeast will showcase their work! The admission is free and there will be food and fun for people of all ages.  I look forward to this every year and will be there Saturday morning.

There will be something going on all weekend at Russell Crossroads.  Friday night on the Green and a wine tasting at Catherine’s Market are always relaxing.  On Saturday morning, you can enjoy yoga on the Green and the Pancake Breakfast at the Stables.  The Pancake Breakfast is a popular treat for locals and lake visitors!

Confederate Railroad is the headliner for the concert Sunday night at the Amphitheater. This summer concert is going to be enjoyable and it is free!  Bring your picnic, lawn chairs and blanket to make this an evening of family fun.
